My story

Freja is a beautiful 1-year-old Siamese cat with a soft, serene spirit. Recently retired from being a mama, she’s now ready to enjoy the quiet, pampered life she truly deserves.This lovely lady is calm, quiet, and reserved—an old soul in a young cat’s body. Freja enjoys spending her days napping in cozy spots, gently exploring her surroundings, and soaking up the occasional head scratch (her favorite!). Though she may be shy at first, her gentle nature shines through once she feels safe and loved.Freja would thrive in a peaceful home where she can fully relax and be herself. If you`re looking for a calm, low-maintenance companion with a heart full of quiet affection, Freja may just be your perfect match.If you`re looking for a lovable, energetic companion who will brighten your days, I`m your guy. Come spend some time with me-I promise you won`t regret it!Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. For information regarding the adoption process please visit our website or read the information below THANK YOU.ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second ChanceSPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
