My story

Mercury is a 5-month-old black kitten with a heart full of curiosity and a spirit that shines. Sweet yet independent, she loves to explore on her own terms, always seeking out new adventures and interesting places to investigate. Mercury is needy and vocal, often seeking our her humans by calling for them. She absolutely loves her toys, and will hunt down any toy mouse or string you put in her way. If you`re looking for a kitten who balances curiosity and a touch of sweetness, Mercury is ready to bring her charm to her forever home!Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. The best way to get in touch with us is by email: info@secondchancespca.org. For information regarding the adoption process please visit our website or read the information below THANK YOU.ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second ChanceSPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
