My story

Chelsea is a 5-month-old Royal Bahamian Potcake with a bright personality and so much love to give. She was found abandoned in a field alongside her littermates in the Bahamas and brought to the shelter in a box. Despite such a rough start to life, Chelsea has not let that dull her shine one bit. Since arriving into foster care here in Ontario, Chelsea has been making great progress in settling in to her foster home, learning a new routine, and learning to trust the people in the home. She truly adores everyone that she meets. She can sometimes be a bit shy when meeting new people, but once she knows you are safe, she becomes your BFF! Chelsea sleeps well in an x-pen throughout the night and does well home alone for a few hours throughout the day. Chelsea walks very well on a leash and loves to feel the grass on her paws. She has been getting along with the resident dogs. With proper introductions, Chelsea would love a doggy companion!
