My story

Boni is a male Bichon Frise who was rescued from an illegal breeding facility in Pyeongtaek, Korea. Before rescue, Boni had lived a very difficult life in a small kennel. When he was first rescued, he weighed only 3.2 kg and was very underweight. After receiving proper food and care, he gained weight quickly and reached 5 kg in about 10 days. He is now eating well, regaining his strength, and slowly adjusting to a new environment.Boni has completed his basic medical check-up in Korea. All of his test kit results were negative, and his bloodwork was good. He has been neutered, has received dental scaling, and has been microchipped. He has received Bravecto and Drontal. He has also received his core vaccines, coronavirus vaccine, and rabies vaccine. Partial grooming has been completed. At the time of rescue, Boni had otitis externa and ear mites, but treatment has been provided. His walking looks good, and no patella issues have been observed.Boni is a bright and people-friendly boy. He responds well to both men and women and enjoys being around people. He is gentle and sweet, and he eats very well. No barking issues have been observed so far, and he has had no issues with other dogs. The world is still unfamiliar to Boni, but he is curious about new things. During walks, he carefully looks around and follows gentle guidance without much difficulty. Boni is still learning what normal home life is like. Boni has had partial grooming. As a Bichon Frise, he will need regular grooming after adoption. Since he had otitis externa and ear mites at the time of rescue, continued ear care will also be important.Boni needs a family who can help him adjust calmly and patiently without rushing him. He likes people and has a bright personality, but he is still learning how to live as a family dog. A stable home that can provide gentle guidance and continue his house training and leash training would be the best fit for him.
