My story

Rocky is an affectionate, friendly mid-sized pup who would happily be your full-time cuddle companion. He loves staying close to his humans and enjoys every bit of attention, whether thats pets, cuddles, or brushing sessions. Rocky also has a playful side and loves games of tug-of-war and playing with his favourite toys. Gentle, eager to please, and full of love, Rocky truly is the total package. History: Rocky came from rural Fisher River, Manitoba, where he lived in a home with many other animals. With slow and proper introductions, he does well living with both dogs and cats. Rocky has also previously lived with children under the age of 10. Notes from Foster: Rockys sweet personality and willingness to learn makes him an amazing companion. His future family should be committed to continuing his training, but he is already doing wonderfully and currently knows sit (working on "off"). As he adjusts to city life, Rocky is learning that busy noises, bikes, and etc. and are nothing to worry about. However, because these experiences are still new to him, he can sometimes feel unsure. Rocky would thrive in a quieter suburban environment or a home with a yard where he can comfortably do his business. While he can live successfully in an apartment with adequate exercise, he currently needs encouragement with elevators and is not yet used to using stairs regularly. Rocky absolutely adores women and will happily flop over for belly rubs. He can initially be timid around men, but once he realizes he is safe, his affectionate and loving personality quickly shines through. Rocky also rides well in the car and continues making great progress with crate training. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, Rocky is sure to blossom into the loyal best friend youve been searching for.
