My story

Hello potential adopters, my name is Gemstone a 2-year-old cute, playful, happy, people selective, sensitive girl who just needs a little time to feel safe and learn how to trust again. I enjoy being outside, playing fetch, cuddling, getting rubs, and shadowing the shelter volunteers. I would do best in a patient home that understands my need to go at my own pace. With slow movements and a gentle, soft voice, you’ll start to see my walls come down. I would do really well in a quieter home where my humans are consistent and predictable.I am spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines.If you have some time to work with me on my leash skills and confidence you will see changes in my fear level pretty quickly.Please contact the loving folks at the Humane Society of Sedona at: 928.282.4679 any day of the week 10am-4pm; excluding major holidays and come say `hi!`
