My story

Thor here, I`m a fit, gorgeous and trim 140 pound 3-year-old playful, happy, curious, and fun Great Pyrenees. I am funny and smart too, know ‘sit, shake and stay’ and I’m learning even more manners. Walks are my thing, I am good on a leash, and part of me feels like a lap dog despite my size because I have the love and heart of a puppy. I am always ready to lean in for a cuddle or a sloppy kiss when I get to know you. I love belly rubs, cooling off in a splash pool and squeaky toys too. I have been at the shelter for over a year and dream of one day living outside this noisy shelter with a family that can provide consistent care and kindness. I am still a young dog and need someone who can teach me a bit more about what is expected of me. I am worthy of a great life and will bring happiness, joy, love, and laughter into your home.I am especially good at making the people around me smile! I am a most handsome guy, and we`ll become the happy talk of the neighborhood. My breed generally shows patience and calmness, and I do well with dogs smaller than me. I have had fun playing with a few dogs here at the shelter, but you’ll want to bring another calm dog you already have for our ‘meet and greet’. Being your only dog though sounds really awesome!I am neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and house broken.Let’s plan some marvelous and beautiful outdoor adventures of our own, it all starts with you contacting the folks at the Humane Society of Sedona at: 928.282.4679 any day of the week 10am-4pm; excluding major holidays and making an appointment to meet me. Bring your love with you when you come to meet me!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Thor *Sponsored*, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
