My story

Thor here, I`m a fit, gorgeous and trim 140 pound 3-year-old playful, happy, curious, and fun Great Pyrenees. I am funny and smart too, know ‘sit, shake and stay’ and I’m learning even more manners. Walks are my thing, I am good on a leash, and part of me feels like a lap dog despite my size because I have the love and heart of a puppy. I am always ready to lean in for a cuddle or a sloppy kiss when I get to know you. I love belly rubs, cooling off in a splash pool and squeaky toys too. I have been at the shelter for over a year and dream of one day living outside this noisy shelter with a family that can provide consistent care and kindness. I am still a young dog and need someone who can teach me a bit more about what is expected of me. I am worthy of a great life and will bring happiness, joy, love, and laughter into your home.I am especially good at making the people around me smile! I am a most handsome guy, and we`ll become the happy talk of the neighborhood. My breed generally shows patience and calmness, and I do well with dogs smaller than me. I have had fun playing with a few dogs here at the shelter, but you’ll want to bring another calm dog you already have for our ‘meet and greet’.
