My story

Meet Pepper, a two-year-old tortie who has truly blossomed in her foster environment. She came from a shelter where she was not thriving, but she has quickly came out of her shell and now loves people and exploring her surroundings. Curious, gentle, and friendly, Pepper will do well with kind, respectful children, and her sweet nature suggests she could be a good fit for many types of loving homes. All Jake’s Place cats that are available for adoption are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLV and are microchipped. The Adoption Fee for Pepper is $110. This Fee helps pay for Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Vaccines, FIV/Leukemia testing, as well as all other Veterinary costs. Adopters must agree to return the kitty to Jake’s Place if the adoption fails at any time. All Fees will be returned if the adoption fails within 90 days. Jake’s Place is a 100% volunteer organization. All Fees and Donations go directly to the care of our kitties.
