My story

Straight from the planet Meow-mac, meet Alf—a sweet, 3-month-old kitten who's just beginning to explore life on Earth. He may not eat cats like his namesake from the classic sitcom (phew!), but this little extraterrestrial kitty is looking for a loving human to call family. Alf is a gentle soul with a shy side—he’s still adjusting to Earth customs like cuddles and toys—but with a little patience and some good Earth snacks, he’s starting to show his silly, playful self. His quiet purrs and soft gaze are proof there's a loving personality beneath that mysterious, intergalactic exterior. Already neutered and fully up-to-date on vaccines, Alf is medically cleared for takeoff and ready to land right in your heart. If you're looking for a playful alien with cosmic potential, Alf is your guy. Adopt Alf—because sometimes the best companions come from far, far away (or your local shelter). Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
