My story

Lilith is a sleek black domestic shorthair with a quiet presence and a heart that blooms with time. This reserved lady prefers the peace of a calm, predictable home where she can stretch out in sunny windows and take her time getting to know her people. New places and new faces can be a bit overwhelming for her, so patience and gentle routines are key to helping Lilith feel safe and secure. Once she trusts you, Lilith reveals her sweet side—she's a cuddler, but always on her own terms. She’ll come find you when she’s ready for affection, often curling up nearby to enjoy your company. She’s not one for chaos or constant hustle, but if you’re looking for a quiet companion to share your space and your heart, Lilith might just be your perfect match. Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
