My story

Danica girl is shy at first but easy brought out of her shell! She is a 15 week old puppy who came to us from one of our rescue partners in Texas hoping to avoid growing up in rescue! Danica is guessed to be a lab mix and we're thinking maybe shepherd but honestly with our Texas specials you never know! Things we have noticed about Danica so far: - She has done so well in the car so far and we haven't encountered any barking or whining! I mean, that maybe since she also has been on her first plane ride and so the rest seems easy peasy. - She loves being outside and enjoys running around in the yard. - Enjoys playing with other dogs, she doesn't have a dog in her foster home but she has played with others and would really love to have a forever sibling though it isn't required at this time. - She is a little timid on the leash when she first starts going however once she finds her rhythm she is ready to go. - She working on to potty training in her new environment, so we imagine that she will continue to do so when her forever is found. However as always, please be prepared for some patience! - She is loves her crate and will go in there when she wants to relax, sometimes she'll take a toy in there and she sleeps so comfortable throughout the night. She is comfortable in her foster home until adoption, however if her forever home is found before 6/10 she is eligible for a foster to adopt home while she waits for her spay. Her chosen forever home would be responsible for taking her to her spay at our local vet in the Irving Park neighborhood!
