My story

Spanky is an adorable long-haired tuxedo kitten (estimated DOB: 2/14/2025) who brings both fun and flair! From cat tunnels to wand toys and cat trees to games of chase, Spanky lives for playtime. She is in perpetual motion until she finally flops down for a well-earned break. Though she’s more independent than cuddly, Spanky still enjoys a good head rub and will seek you out when she’s winding down. She is a cat with a bold spirit, a strong sense of curiosity. We rescued Spanky along with her mom, Darla, and four siblings. All kittens must be adopted with another kitten or into a home with another young cat with which he or she can play and socialize. The majority of no-kill rescues nationwide adhere to this policy. This policy is NOT based on a desire to increase our number of adoptions, rather it ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development.
