My story

Zeus is a playful and mischievous male brown tabby (estimated DOB: 7/9/2024). After a round of playtime, he will happily enjoy a cuddly evening on the couch. Zeus is a bit shy and needs a short adjustment period to get used to his surroundings. Once he gets acclimated, he is a total sweetheart. Zeus is being fostered with his sister, Athena. They are not bonded but can be adopted together. We rescued Zeus along with his mom and 4 other siblings on the far southside of Chicago. His mom gave birth on a hot summer day next to a dumpster. A concerned neighbor brought them in and reached out to us for help. Zeus is initially timid around other cats but warms up to them over time. He has not been exposed to dogs. All kittens must be adopted with another kitten or into a home with another young cat with which he or she can play and socialize. The majority of no-kill rescues nationwide adhere to this policy. This policy is NOT based on a desire to increase our number of adoptions, rather it ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development.
