My story

Meet Alfalfa ("Alfy"), a charming long-haired brown tabby boy with a big heart and an even bigger purr. We estimate his date of birth to be 2/14/2025. Alfy is the first to curl up in your lap and the last to leave. If he had it his way, he would spend all day soaking up cuddles and belly rubs. Alfy grew up alongside his four siblings and quickly became the confident, outgoing one of the bunch. He’s playful, smart, and full of kitten energy, but when the zoomies fade, he’ll happily snooze in your arms like a baby. He will let you know he wants your attention by meowing adorably. Whether he’s chasing toys, climbing cat trees, or flopping down for pets, Alfy is sure to steal your heart (and your lap!). We rescued Alfy along with his mom, Darla, and four siblings. All kittens must be adopted with another kitten or into a home with another young cat with which he or she can play and socialize. The majority of no-kill rescues nationwide adhere to this policy. This policy is NOT based on a desire to increase our number of adoptions, rather it ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development.
