My story

Dog Name: Sophie Rose Breed: Lab Mix Sex: Female, Spayed Age: 7 years old Weight: 50 pounds Medical Needs: None. Housebroken: Yes. She will have a full on conversation with you when it's time for her to go outside. Crate trained: We're getting there. She absolutely HATES going in the crate, but with some cheese or deli meat, it's not the worst thing in the world. Once she's in there, she settles down and goes to sleep. Good in the car: Yes! She loves a good car ride. She will sit with her head resting on the open window or will lay down and take a nap. Good on a leash: Yes. She initially pulled but with a prong collar that was corrected. Now she walks great with her regular collar and leash. Energy level: Low but she definitely has some pep in her step when you ask her if she wants her dinner or to go on a walk! Need a fenced in yard: No but would definitely be an added bonus; even a long leash or dog run. This girl loves laying in the grass outside and watching the world go by. Dog Friendly: Yes. If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? No. Cat Friendly? No. Kid Friendly: Yes. If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? Any age as long as they are supervised. Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them? Sophie Rose is the sweetest little old lady! Her favorite activities include laying on the couch, laying on the floor, laying outside in the grass basking in the sun...you get the idea.
