My story

Hello, my name is Velvet! I am a very sweet 10 year old domestic shorthair cat that weighs approx. 15lbs. I was surrender due to my previous family no longer being able to care for me. I am now looking for my FURever home to spend my golden years with. I have been raised in a home with dogs and children. I tend to mind my own business with the other animals in the home. I am very much a lap cat through and through. I am also front paw declawed. I am litter box trained and on both canned/dry senior food. My adoption fee is $30 which includes my spay, rabies, microchip, FVRCP booster, and Fiv/Felv test. RAC staff will be in touch to schedule a meet and greet.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption.
