My story

Hey there! I'm Midnight &#194&#151 Your New Best Buddy with a Heart of Gold! I'm Midnight, a 2-year-old black-and-white Pit/Lab mix ready to light up your life! Rescued as a tiny pup, I spent the past year in a loving foster home with kids and other pets, learning all the basics of being a good boy. I'm super people-oriented and love nothing more than hanging out with my humans&#194&#151whether that's playing fetch, going for long runs, or catching some quality nap time. Oh, and I'm a huge fan of Sabrina Carpenter tunes&#194&#151music makes everything better! I'm housebroken, crate trained, and walk like a pro on a leash. When it comes to other dogs, I'm pretty selective and do best with a calm, submissive buddy. So, a meet and greet is a must to make sure we're a perfect pack. I'm neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative. I have been searching for my furr ever home for 90 days as of 06/27/2025 and am now considered a Diamond Dog! IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption.
