What my friends at ACC say about me:True was in the den, appearing somewhat tense and pulling back from petting, though she allowed it slightly reluctantly. She ate the squeeze-up treat but remained wary of petting, although reasonably tolerant. She stayed in the den the entire time.Tru interacts with the observer, solicits & appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience or demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior. It could be with you! I think that's the case with Tru, a sweet, calm, affectionate girl who came to the Care Center after being abandoned by her owner. Since she's been with us, Tru has shown a little initial shyness, then quickly warms up and accepts pettings, even leaning in for cheek rubs. And if you come to her with treats (squeeze ups, yum!) she's even more eager to make friends. Tru did well on her behavior assessment, and she's been patiently hoping to catch the eye of new pet parents who will fall in love with her as we have. Social, mellow, and a bombshell calico beauty (just look at her photos!), Tru is hoping hard for a new home soon. Maybe yours? Primary Color: Calico Weight: 7.5 Age: 3yrs 2mths 0wks
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Tru, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
