My story

My foster writes: Florinda or Flo, as I call her, is a plump and beautiful kitty who is very affectionate, but also mellow and independent. A big girl, but agile, Flo moves fast when it's meal time. She'll let you know when it's time for feeding, sitting at the door of the kitchen watching you until you get the hint. When you finally turn with her bowl of wet food, she will let out the cutest series of meows as she runs ahead of you to her eating place. She has a hearty purr and it really gets going when you pet her upper back, right below the neck. She also loves to roll around on her back and show off her belly either on the floor (she loves rugs) or your bed. She likes belly rubs and petting on her chest, and will meow or touch your arm with her paw when she wants more rubbing. She loves to use her claws on her cardboard scratch box, so make sure you have a bunch of those as she goes through them quickly! Flo is a sweet cat and good company. She's as loving as she is round. The perfect New York roommate, Flo is social but sets boundaries and knows to give you space. She's quiet, clean, and pays her bills on time with a wealth of love and furry relaxation. Flo is the feline friend you never thought you needed. Adopt her today!Another foster writes:Florinda or Flo, as I call her, is a big furry, chubby ball of love. She's an independent gal, but very affectionate. When she's ready she will flop down next to you and roll and roll, exposing her tummy and taking your gentle pets on her chest. She loves getting her back scratched. She likes that hard, especially around the scruff of her neck. And strokes on the top of her head and under her chin make her very happy. She loves her wet food and will meow only when she is ready to eat it. She is quiet at other times. Flo is good in a single adult home where she is the only animal. She's a big girl and likes to rule the roost. Flo is a mellow, low-maintenance cat that will be a peaceful and affectionate addition to your home. Primary Color: Brown Tabby Weight: 16.7 Age: 11yrs 0mths 0wks
