My story

Name, age: Binx, 2yrsLikes: belly rubs, treats, liquid treats, chin scratches, a comfy bed, cheek scratchesDislikes: being held, fast movements, loud noisesWhat would be the ideal home? A quiet home that gives him the time and space to get comfortable and socialize slowly. He is a very scared guy and would benefit from an adopter to help him socialize but also give him his space.Good with other cats? YesGood with dogs? UnknownGood with children? NoPersonality: Binx is a very sweet boy and coming out of his shell more and more everyday. He will likely take a long time to settle into a home and show his true personality. He does enjoying playing alone with his cat nip toys and hides in a quiet space where he feels safe. How long will it take to settle into a new environment? A few weeks-months Any special needs or traits an adopter should know? Will find a safe spot to hide hide but likely won’t come out from hiding on his own for some time. Recommended to give him his own space to feel comfortable. Binx, once comfortable and warmed up which may time some time, enjoys being around his people. He will start purring when you enter the room. Despite being shy he will politely ask for pets by showing his belly and leaning into chin scratches. While he is still timid and opens up at his own pace, once he’s comfortable he loves attention and a good treat. Binx is often curious about other foster cats at home and would likely enjoy having a cat in the home.If you think Binx is the one for you - fill out an application today!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Binx, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
