Name, age, breed: Cinderella, 3 years old, Hound mixLikes: Toys, treats, belly rubs, playtime, going on walks, meeting new people, and being the center of attention! She loves to play tug-of-war and will happily wiggle her way into your lap for cuddles.Dislikes: Being restrained or held too tightly—she’s a bit of an escape artist when it comes to hugs or vet checks! Small kids might be a bit too easy to knock over with her excitement. What would be the ideal home? Cinderella would thrive in an active home where she gets plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and consistent training. She’s very loving and eager to learn, but she needs someone who can help her focus that enthusiasm. A home with older kids (10+) and dog-savvy adults would be ideal. First-time dog owners are welcome—as long as they’re ready for the adventure!Good with other cats? Unknown - likely no due to breed.Good with dogs? Possibly! Cinderella may do well with another dog of similar size and energy. Slow introductions are a must, as she can come on a little strong.Good with children? No children under 10, please—Cinderella’s exuberant personality and tendency to jump up may overwhelm little ones.Temperament: High-energy, affectionate, playful, and social. Cinderella is a happy-go-lucky girl who wears her heart on her wagging tail. She`s incredibly sweet and loves to be around people, but her enthusiasm means she’ll need guidance to learn polite manners.Motivators? Toys and treats!Any commands? She knows “sit” and is eager to learn more with positive reinforcement.House trained? Working on it—predicted to do well with a consistent schedule and positive routine.Crate trained? Not yet, but with patience and training, she may be able to be.How long will it take to settle into a new environment? A few weeks. We recommend looking into the 3-3-3 Rule to help understand what to expect as she adjusts to her new environment and family. Cinderella may be anxious the first few days but will settle down with time, patience, and consistency.Any special needs or traits an adopter should know? Cinderella is a smart girl with a lot of energy and love to give. She does pull strongly on leash and needs training to improve her walking manners. She’s very wiggly and can be hard to handle during restraint or vet visits, but with the right person, she’ll flourish. Obedience training is required to help her be
