My story

Say bonjour to Sammie!Coming from a pound in Quebec where he was at risk of euthanasia, this beautiful boy is now safe and sound at EHS and ready to find his joie de vivre.ABOUT SAMMIE:-In foster-Young adult, domestic shorthair, male-Sammie has a gorgeous black coat and wide yellow eyes.-Sammie is a skittish cat who has had minimal experience with humans.-He is currently enrolled in EHS’s socialization program, where dedicated volunteers are working to help him become more comfortable around people.-Sammie is making amazing progress. He enjoys gentle head scratches and loves to perch on his cat tree. He is also always up for food bribes!-Some skittish cats may remain reserved, while others may express their trust and affection in a variety of ways. -Sammie is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and up to date on core vaccinations.SAMMIE’S IDEAL HOME:-Sammie will do best with an experienced owner who is dedicated to helping him overcome his fears and nurture his trust.-A skittish cat will benefit from a calm, quiet environment, preferably without small children or other animals. -Potential adopters should be prepared to commit the time, effort, and patience required to help Sammie settle into his new environment. EHS will provide post-adoption support to assist Sammie with a successful transition to his forever home. Are you ready to give Monsieur Sammie your heart, home, and a second chance at happiness?
