My story

Sometimes an Ember is all we need. Ember the fiery cat came to EHS when, heavily pregnant, she followed a teenage boy home and this savvy good Samaritan set her up on his porch with a box where she gave birth the next morning. He and his parents then phoned EHS to help the little feline family. Having fulfilled her Mama duties, this beautiful, orange and brown tabby girl is now ready to warm up her forever home. ABOUT EMBER- In foster- Ember is an affectionate cat who loves attention. - She has been described as “extremely curious, intelligent (She responds eagerly to her name!), and easy to love.” - Ember definitely has a sassy side. Her mischievous spark will keep you on your toes, as she has been known to knock things down when she wants attention. - Hide and seek, anyone? Ember loves catnip and will find it in every new hiding spot. Game on. - She will keep you laughing! This girl loves delivery boxes, happily hopping in and out of them. - Ember doesn’t have a huge need for personal space. She won’t smother your flame, but if she has her way, she would prefer lots of playtime and company; she will also happily be your bedfellow. She loves pets and will purr away during head pats.- A chatty girl, Ember has a lot to say in the morning, according to her foster parent, and she makes eye contact while meowing and spinning her tales. Perhaps her former street cat experience has her interested in penning the next bestselling meow-moir? - Ember is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations. EMBER’S IDEAL HOME- Ember would do well with an experienced cat owner who has the patience to help her adjust to a new living situation. She is a well-socialized cat and, with the right owner, would do well in a variety of homes. - She loves lounging in the sun and climbing up to do her sun-worshipping.
