My story

Sometimes an ember is all we need. Ember the fiery cat came to EHS when, heavily pregnant, she followed a teenage boy home and this savvy good Samaritan set her up on his porch with a box where she gave birth the next morning. He and his parents then phoned EHS to help the little feline family. Having done her Mama duties, this beautiful, orange and brown tabby girl is ready to warm up her forever home. ABOUT EMBER:- In foster- Ember is an affectionate cat who loves attention. - She has been described as “extremely curious, intelligent, smart, and easy to love.” - Ember definitely has a sassy side. Her mischievous spark will keep you on your toes as she has been known to vocalize and knock things down when she wants attention. - Ember doesn’t have a huge need for personal space. She won’t smother your flame, but if she has her way, she would prefer lots of playtime, company, and will happily be your bedfellow. - A chatty girl, Ember has a lot to say, according to her foster mom, and she makes eye contact while meowing and spinning her tales. Perhaps her former street cat experience has her interested in penning the next bestselling meow-moir? - Ember is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations. EMBER’S IDEAL HOME:- Ember hasn’t yet been exposed to kids, but given her friendly nature and love of play, she should do well with school-aged children. - Ember is a well-socialized cat who enjoys the company of humans, dogs, and fellow felines. The more the merrier at the bonfire! Will Ember ignite the flame within you? This sassy sweetheart is guaranteed to spark your interest. Send in your adoption application today!
