Colossus

My story

True to his name, Colossus is a massive, majestic, larger-than-life gentleman with a soft white coat marked by handsome tabby patches. This big-hearted boy is not only grand in size, but also in spirit. Colossus is FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus positive), but don't let that scare you — with a low-stress life and good care, FIV+ cats can live long, happy lives! Because of his status, he needs a home where he isn’t getting into fights with other cats. He would do best either as your one-and-only colossal companion, or in a home with other laid-back cats (especially other FIV+ cats) who respect his gentle nature. While his presence is towering, Colossus himself is a calm, sweet soul who just wants a soft spot to land, some good food, and plenty of love. If you're ready to share your home with a truly monumental cat, Colossus is ready to fill your heart — and your couch! Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
