My story

Wishy Washy is a striking grey and white domestic shorthair with a name that might make you smile — but don’t let it fool you. This lady knows what she likes (and what she doesn’t), and she’s not afraid to tell you. She’s got a little sass in her step and a whole lot of personality in her eyes. Wishy Washy isn’t here to win over the world — she’s just waiting for the right person. Someone patient, kind, and willing to give her the time she needs to feel safe and seen. Once she’s decided you’re worth her trust, you’ll have a loyal companion with a soft side that’s just waiting to be discovered. She’s not for everyone — but she just might be perfect for you. Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
