Trixie!

My story

Trixie is a happy, sweet little chihuahua mix puppy. She estimated DOB 4/1/2022 and currently 12 lbs. She is looking for a home with older (or no) kids and a secure fenced yard (no apartments)... and another small playful dog would be ideal. Trixie is sweet, playful, affectionate and smart. She enjoys romping around the house and yard with her dog buddies. She likes playing with her toys and chewing on bully sticks. In the evening she wants to be on the couch with her people for snuggle time. Trixie can be a bit shy when meeting new people but has shown she will warm up quickly with gentle introductions and treats. Once she warms up she is a delightful, endearing little puppy. Trixie is crate trained, doing well with house training and learning to walk on a leash. Trixie currently lives with several dogs of all sizes; she does well with them but seems to prefer smaller dogs for playmates. She currently lives with dog savvy cats and is respectful with them. Young children would likely overwhelm her so children under 12 are not recommended. She is an alert barker so apartment living is likely not a good fit for her. She would not do well left home alone daily for long hours. She would enjoy a young, playful companion dog to play with and keep her company while her humans are away from home. Trixie is a very sweet puppy who has been a delight to foster.
