Lyric!

My story

Lyric is a sweet little chihuahua mix. She was born around 2/2023 and is petite at 8 lbs. Lyric enjoys exploring in the yard, chewing on bully sticks and going for walks. She enjoys being with her people and will happily follow them around the house and yard most of the day. In the evening she likes to be on the couch with her humans. She is crate trained, doing well with house training, comes when called and is learning to walk politely on a leash. She currently lives with other dogs and gets along well with them. She can be somewhat dominant with some small female dogs but responds well to being told to stop. She also lives with dog savvy cats and is respectful with them. She might challenge shy kitties and chase if they run. Children would likely overwhelm her so an adult only home would be best for her. She is an alert barker so no apartments for her. She would not do well being left home alone daily for long hours and prefers plenty of human companionship. Lyric can be shy/timid when meeting new people but she has shown she will warm up with slow introductions and treats. Lyric would likely do well in an adult only home with a yard where she can sun herself, play and explore. She might do well with a confident, friendly dog to help boost her confidence, pal around with and keep her company when her humans are away from home. Someone who has the time, patience and willingness to work with a shy dog would be ideal. Lyric is a sweet, fun little dog who is patiently waiting for her forever home.
