My story

When Churru was just four months old, he was found alone in the middle of the streets of Mexico. He was frightened, incredibly skinny, covered in fleas, hungry, and desperately thirsty. He had already experienced more hardship in his short life than any puppy should ever have to endure. Thankfully, someone saw him and decided that his story would not end there. Churru was brought home and given the safety, food, care, and love he so desperately needed. And from the very beginning, he showed everyone what a truly special dog he is. Despite his difficult start, Churru remained a happy, funny, affectionate, and loving boy. He quickly showed his playful personality and especially loved being around other dogs. He just wanted to run, play, and enjoy life. Today, Churru is a wonderful Golden Retriever mix who is ready for the next chapter of his journey - a forever family of his own. Churru is incredibly affectionate, gentle, tender, and loving. He enjoys being around people and is comfortable with both women and men. He is also good with children and other dogs. He has lived with cats before and does well with them, making him a wonderful potential companion for a variety of families. Churru has a medium energy level. He loves to play and can get excited with his toys, which is when you may hear him bark. His barking is generally excitement or part of his playful personality - not aggression. He enjoys his walks and walks nicely on a leash, preferably with a harness. He is not reactive to people or other dogs, and he rides well in the car.
