Chippy and his brother, Brutus, have been cherished members of their family since they were puppies. Sadly, due to circumstances completely beyond their family's control, they must now find new homes after a community member repeatedly threatened the dogs. Wanting only to keep them safe, their family made the difficult decision to surrender them so they could have the opportunity to live happy, secure lives with loving families. Chippy is a friendly, social boy who truly loves people. He's wonderful with men, women, children, other dogs, and even cats, making him an excellent fit for many different types of families. His affectionate nature and gentle disposition mean he quickly becomes everyone's friend, and he loves being included in whatever his people are doing. If there's one thing Chippy is passionate about, it's **playtime!** He absolutely loves chasing tennis balls, retrieving sticks, and proudly carrying his favourite treasures around the yard. Whether it's a game of fetch, exploring outdoors, or "helping" with the woodpile, Chippy approaches life with enthusiasm and a happy wagging tail. His playful side is balanced by his calm demeanor, making him just as content relaxing with his family after a day of fun. Having spent his life in a rural environment, Chippy would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where he has room to run, play, and enjoy the outdoors.
