My story

Meet Pedro! 🐾Pedro is an approximately 1-year-old Shepherd mix with a big personality and an even bigger zest for life! This handsome boy is full of energy and is always ready for his next adventure.Pedro can be a little cautious when meeting new people, but once he knows you're a friend, his fun-loving, goofy, and exuberant personality shines through. He forms strong bonds with his people and loves to be part of the action.Like many young dogs, Pedro has a rough-and-rowdy play style. He has gotten along well with some dogs but not others, so a meet and greet with any resident dogs will be required before adoption to help ensure a good match.Because Pedro can be wary of new people and situations, we believe he would thrive in a home without young children. A home with adults or older, dog-savvy kids who can respect his space while he settles in would be the best fit.Pedro is scheduled to be neutered on July 28, 2026, and is looking for a patient, active family that will help him continue building confidence while giving him the exercise and structure he needs to succeed.Think Pedro might be the perfect addition to your family?
