My story

Meet Sable, a sweet and resilient girl with a heart full of love. After spending her life as a stray mama in Northern Manitoba, Sable was left behind after someone gave away all of her puppies and abandoned her to face the harsh winter alone. Thankfully, a kind-hearted Good Samaritan stepped in and gave her the second chance she so deserved. Despite everything she has been through, Sable remains incredibly gentle, affectionate, and trusting. She loves to cuddle with her people, enjoys playtime, and has a wonderful, easygoing nature. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and would love a canine companion to romp around with. She has also proven to be fantastic with cats and even lived peacefully with a rabbit, often trying to make friends and play with them. Sable is great with children and would make a wonderful addition to a family. Sable is crate trained and sleeps quietly in her crate at night. She appears to be house trained, reliably letting her foster family know when she needs to go outside. She listens well, rides nicely in the car once she settles in, and is content to nap for most of the journey. Her foster family has not seen any destructive behaviorsshe would much rather chew on a bone than get into trouble, and she isn't a digger either. This lovely girl has overcome so much and is now ready to find a forever family who will cherish her as much as she deserves. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion with a gentle soul and a playful side, Sable may be the perfect match for you.
