My story

Gigi is an incredibly sweet and loving little girl who simply wants to be with her people. Whether shes playing with her favorite stuffed toy, snuggling on the couch, or following you around the house, shes happiest when shes spending time with her humans. She loves everyone she meets, including children, and is unfazed by the noise and activity that often comes with a busy family. Shes also cat-friendly and enjoys the company of other small dogs after taking a little time to warm up. While she can be cautious around larger dogs at first, she would likely adjust well with proper introductions and patience. Gigi has a playful and curious personality and absolutely adores stuffed toys. She enjoys exploring, playing, and being involved in whatever her family is doing. Unfortunately, Gigi appears to have experienced some unkind treatment in her past. She sometimes flinches when a hand is raised suddenly and may cower if she thinks shes done something wrong, even for something as harmless as sneaking a bite of cat food. She can also be a little worried that someone might take her food away. Because of this, she will thrive in a patient, loving home that will continue to build her confidence through kindness and positive reinforcement. Despite these small insecurities, Gigi is a happy, affectionate dog with so much love to give. Her sweet nature, playful spirit, and desire to be close to her people make her an easy dog to fall in love with. She truly is a wonderful little companion looking for a family to call her own.
