My story

Meet Mister Brodi Your Loyal, Couch-Side CompanionCurrently in foster in Mississauga, Mister Brodi is a distinguished gentleman patiently waiting to meet his forever family. This handsome boy is 100% house trained and crate trained, and happiest when hes relaxing beside you on the couch. Hes perfectly content to chill while you work from home and also does just fine when you need to head out. Brodi simply loves being part of your world. He has settled beautifully into foster care. While he can be a little protective of his people at first, he warms up quickly to new faces. Because of this, an adult home or one with older kids would be best.Brodi previously lived with several dogs while recovering in foster and did wonderfully with all of them. Hes currently the only pet, so on leash he can sometimes get a bit over-excited when he spots other dogs but hes making great progress. He even lived with cats in Georgia and politely ignored them!At heart, Brodi is deeply devoted. Once he bonds with you, he is your dog through and through. His ideal home: A calmer environment (not constant new visitors) A confident, dog-savvy owner A yard would be lovely, but not required. He would LOVE to live in a rural area! Older children, if any Mister Brodi is beautiful inside and out loyal, affectionate, and ready to give his whole heart to someone special. If youre looking for a steady, loving companion who will truly devote himself to you, Brodi is waiting.   Medical Notes: Has a rod in his front leg following surgery after getting hit by a car - fully healed.Neck size (for collar): LargeHeight (from top of head):Length (from nose to base of tail):Crate size recommended: xlargeGood with women: YesGood with men: YesGood with kids: Yes, older kidsGood with other dogs: YesGood with cats: YesHouse trained: YesCrate trained: YesEnergy level: MediumCan be handled/touched: YesBarker: NoFlight risk: NoFood aggressive: NoCurrent food: SalmonWalks on leash: Yes, no pullingLeash reactive to people or dogs: NoRides well in car: YesDestructive: NoNeeds a home with a yard: NoNeeds a home with another dog: Not necessarily, but loves other dogsCan live in an apartment: Yes Please visit our website niagaradogrescue.com to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs.
