Meet Lady Ruby A Quiet Survivor Ready for Her Happy Ending In May 2023, Lady Rubys story began in heartbreak. She was found with severe neck injuries after being strangled by a collar a cruel start no dog deserves. But even in the midst of her pain, Ruby carried life and soon after her rescue, she gave birth to two precious puppies. One of her babies has since found a loving home in Canada and now its Rubys turn to be chosen. Despite everything shes been through, Lady Ruby remains incredibly gentle, calm, and full of quiet resilience. She is a Jindo mix, weighing about 31 lbs, with a soft white coat and an even softer soul. Ruby can be a little shy when meeting new people, but her energy is beautifully calm and grounded. Once she feels safe, her affectionate and trusting nature begins to shine through. She has now been tested with children and did wonderfully we recommend a home with older kids who can respect her gentle and sensitive spirit. She gets along well with other dogs and may even gain confidence from having a canine companion, though she doesnt require one. Ruby is house-trained, prefers doing her business outdoors, and is continuing to build confidence with crate training. She has worked so hard to learn how to walk on leash and now does so beautifully a true testament to her resilience and willingness to trust again. Ruby is not destructive, shows no signs of food aggression, and is not a flight risk. She has a low energy level, making her an ideal companion for a calm home where she can relax, feel safe, and simply be loved. A home with a yard would be ideal for her routine, though she can adapt to apartment living with the right structure. Lady Ruby has endured more than most yet she remains gentle, loving, and hopeful. She gave everything she had to her puppies and now its her time to be cared for, cherished, and finally home.
