My story

Bob came in as a stray by the public. We do not know his full history, but he has been at the shelter for a year and a half.Bob is very sweet once he gets to know you. He loves to play in snow! He loves toys but tends to rip them up when he gets too excited. Bob is more laid-back. He loves to go for walks and plays when he wants to. He does have hind leg deformities, but it does not stop him from getting around! He will still run and play without hesitation. He can get a little sore if he overdoes it, but otherwise he does not seem too bothered by anything! He is currently given daily joint supplements and pain meds only when needed. Spayed/Neutered: YesMedical: Hind leg deformity - stands in a squat like position but has no issues with mobility - radiographs complete and vet assessment done - no further vetting required besides joint supplementsNeck size (for collar):Height (from top of head):Length (from nose to base of tail):Crate size recommended:Good with women: yesGood with men: yesGood with kids: yesGood with other dogs: yes, prefers calmer dogsGood with cats: unknownHouse trained: in progress - does well with a regular routineCrate trained: yesEnergy level: low-moderateCan be handled/touched: yes can be a little sensitive with hind legs on occasionBarker: sometimesFlight risk: noFood aggressive: noCurrent food: Hills Science DietWalks on leash: yesLeash reactive to people or dogs: noRides well in car: yesDestructive: no but may chew toys/blankets when boredNeeds a home with a yard: preferredCan live in an apartment: yesNeeds a home with another dog: no Please visit our website niagaradogrescue.com to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs.
