With his tall, expressive ears, warm amber eyes, and infectious smile, Sir King doesnt just walk into your life he bursts into it with joy.Sir Kings story began on David Hill in Kentucky a known dumping ground where he and his sister, Queen, were found as young puppies. Both were underweight, covered in ticks, and left to fend for themselves. From the start, Sir King showed resilience. He was relieved to be safe, happy to be warm, and grateful for every meal placed in front of him. While Sir King adjusted quickly, his sister arrived semi-paralyzed and had to be rushed to a medical rescue for multiple life-saving surgeries.Sir King was left behind alone.For the past five long months, Sir King has waited. Hes watched friends leave with their forever families while he stayed behind, hopeful each time someone walked past his kennel only to be overlooked again and again. And yet, he has never let that steal his joy.Sir King is goofy, outgoing, and endlessly loving. Hes the kind of dog who can turn your worst day around without even trying. He greets everyone with happy dances at his kennel door, singing his song as if to say, Hey! Im right here! Hes food-motivated, eager to learn, and is doing great with leash manners.
