My story

Meet Suki a bright, joyful young soul from Guadalajara, Mexico who is just beginning her journey toward the life she was always meant to have. Suki is a German Shorthaired Pointer mix with a shiny, short coat and an even brighter spirit. She is the perfect blend of athletic energy and soft puppy affection a girl who lives to run, play, explore, and then curl up close to her people when the day is done. Her story began quite unexpectedly during a run in the park. Suki was seen happily trotting after different runners, full of curiosity and hope, as if she were searching for someone to belong to. When it became clear she was alone and being ignored by passersby, she chose her person following them home without hesitation. That simple moment changed everything and gave her the chance at safety she deserved. From the start, Suki showed no fear only excitement, trust, and a deep love for human connection. Today, she is a playful, intelligent, high-energy puppy who thrives on activity and companionship. She adores fetch, long walks, running outdoors, and any opportunity to burn off her joyful energy. She is affectionate and loves cuddles, gentle handling, and being close to her humans. When she feels safe, she melts into affection and enjoys every moment of connection. Like many young puppies, Suki is still learning boundaries. She is curious about food and may try to grab things left within reach, and she sometimes shows mild food protectiveness with other dogs. However, she is highly trainable and responds beautifully to positive reinforcement, treats, and gentle guidance. Her intelligence and eagerness to learn make her an incredibly promising companion. Suki is social and enjoys the company of other dogs, especially those who match her playful, active energy. While she can be briefly cautious around larger or overly abrupt dogs, she warms up quickly once she understands she is safe. She currently lives peacefully with other dogs and enjoys playing and coexisting with them. At home, Suki is calm, affectionate, and loves to rest close to her humans often choosing cozy spots like sofas or beds to relax after playtime. When left alone, she may show her puppy side by chewing or carrying shoes and socks for comfort, but with structure and enrichment she continues to improve every day. She travels well in the car, enjoys sticking her head out the window to feel the breeze, and walks beautifully on leash as she continues refining her skills. She is gentle with children, affectionate with adults, and thrives most when she feels included and loved. Suki doesnt need perfection she needs guidance, patience, and an active home that will embrace her energy and intelligence. In return, she offers loyalty, affection, and the kind of joyful companionship only a young dog discovering the world can give. Now Suki is ready for her forever family one that will give her the structure to grow, the freedom to run, and the love she has been choosing people for since the very beginning.
