My story

Wigglesworth  9 y/o | 13 lbs | male | Pomeranian Mix Wigglesworth is a quiet, gentle soul who takes life at his own pace — and once he decides you're trustworthy, he'll let you know with the subtlest tail wag. This fluffy little guy loves short walks, a good meal, and long naps tucked under a chair. He's not looking for excitement; he's looking for home. He's made meaningful strides in foster care: he understands "come," walks on a leash (with a little coaching), uses wee pads reliably, and happily settles in a crate. When he's ready for connection, he'll bring you his favorite toy — a soft, unmistakable way of saying he likes you. Wigglesworth is shy, and that's not a flaw — it's just who he is. Outdoors, the world still feels big and uncertain to him. Indoors with people he trusts, he's relaxed and content. He communicates his comfort level clearly: he'll let you know when he needs space, and he'll let you know when he's ready for closeness. Added Bonus: He has no separation anxiety when left alone.  His ideal home Adults-only household (no children) Only pet — does best without other dogs Patient adopter who understands fear-based behavior and canine body language Quiet home with a consistent, low-key routine Someone who will let him choose when to engage — no forced affection  Not suited for busy, chaotic, or high-foot-traffic households Wigglesworth may not rush to greet you at the door — but give him time, and you'll earn his quiet, genuine trust. If you're the kind of person who understands that the best things take time, Wigglesworth might just be your dog. Vaccinated for rabies, DHPP, and bordetella. Spayed/neutered and microchipped. Current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.  To apply to adopt Wigglesworth, visit our website (www.waggytailrescue.org) for a foster application. It is important to fill out an application as soon as possible for consideration, and we require a complete application for you to meet an animal. We are currently unable to respond to general email inquiries as an all-volunteer run rescue. If the dog is on our website, they are still available. Waggytail Rescue CANNOT guarantee the exact age of any adoptable dog, or final size of any of our adoptable puppies. We rely on the information provided to us by veterinarians, shelters, owner surrenders and other circumstances bringing the dog into our rescue. Questions: adopt@waggytailrescue.org ##2739114##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Wigglesworth, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
