Cache

My story

Plan to fall in love this fall with Cache, a 2 year old 33 pound short, black and tan female Shepherd mix. I am a pleasant shy dog that was transferred to Sedona from another shelter after I was saved from terrible living conditions with my siblings. I was a nervous pup when I first came here in April but with time, steadiness, and patience I am discovering my inner joy, strengths and beauty. I think of myself as a timid, alert, smart, and soulful dog who is getting happier everyday! I have so many 2 and 4 legged friends here at the shelter that are helping me to relax, trust and come out of my shell.I love and find lots of comfort in playing with a variety of other dogs both big and small in the shelter`s park. There we run and chase each other, splash in the pool, and look for lizards, before stopping for a break and a gentle pet and then running off again. I am a tender-hearted pup who may feel nervous at first, but I slowly soften when I am met with gentle movements and kind caresses. When we met just give me some time and space to approach you on my own for shoulder and ear rubs and of course treats. I am still picking up on the skills needed for leash walking, so patient guidance and positive training will help me build confidence. Once I am adopted I will enjoy walks in your neighborhood and maybe a short easy trail hike.If you have a calm heart and a caring home, I look forward to beginning the next chapter of my young life with you! Inside of me lives a calm and loving girl who is looking for a wonderful, happy family so we can fall in love together. I am spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines. If you are a military veteran or Gold Star family you can apply to adopt me though our rescue partners at www.petsforpatriots.org and receive discounts and other specials when you adopt me. Or you can just contact the wonderful humans at the Humane Society of Sedona at: 928.282.4679 any day of the week 10am-4pm; excluding major holidays. I am preparing to start a new life that is kinder to me and I hope that you`ll be a really big part of it. Come and spend some time visiting with me.....thanks!
