My story

Meet Gandalf! He is one the sweetest, cuddliest, most easy going kitties our rescue has ever encountered - such a loving & "easy" cat! To know Gandalf, is to love Gandalf. Gandalf's story has a sad beginning, but we don't focus on it because his fate has changed & we know he will get his happily-ever-after. He showed up at the house of someone that feeds outdoor cats in November 2025 - probably at only 6 months old. He hung around & in late January/early February his caretaker noticed he had two open wounds on his neck. Multiple Good Samaritans came together and long story short, Gandalf got all the care he needed. He's all healed up & ready to meet his forever family! It didn't take long for his foster parents to discover that Gandalf LOVES! being around humans; he loves pets & gentle rubs, likes to play a little, but his most favorite thing is to snuggle up on a human for a nice cuddly nap and hugs. Gandalf does well with other cats & dogs with proper slow intros, and enjoys humans of all ages, gender & sizes! He would do well in almost any home - he'd be a great "starter cat" for one lucky family. Everyone that meets Gandalf quickly falls in love with him. He is a staff favorite at his vet's office. He is such a good & friendly patient that he was purring so loudly when the vet examined him, the vet had to wait until Gandalf stopped purring before he could complete the "listen to lungs & heart" part of the exam.
