My story

This beautiful lady with the soulful eyes is Eliza! She arrived at the shelter as a lost girl on 4/1, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim her. The volunteers have enjoyed getting to know Eliza and describe her as an easygoing, friendly girl. She is quite intelligent and responds to several voice and hand signals for sit, stay, and down. Eliza is also gentle walking on leash. If Eliza sounds like the very good girl you've been searching for, please come meet her today! Eliza is approximately 1 year old, and weighs 62 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, and did test negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Eliza is waiting in kennel 877; her ID # is 17949. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
