My story

This sweet boy is Scripto! He was surrendered to the shelter on 2/28 because his owner didn't like his puppy-ish behavior/energy. His previous owner did say that he is good with kids and other dogs. Scripto is now looking for a new and improved forever home where he will be loved and his energy will be appreciated. If you're looking for an active adventure buddy to join you on the trails, Scripto is your guy! The volunteers describe him as a wonderful dog, very friendly and attentive. He knows sit and down. He is also great on leash! With a little patience and a lot of love, Scripto should be able to adjust easily to a new home. Scripto is 3 years old and weighs 52 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and has been neutered and microchipped. He will be heartworm tested upon adoption. Scripto is waiting patiently in run 879; his ID # is 8415. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
