My story

Sir Isaac Mewton Meet Sir Isaac Mewton, a truly distinguished gentleman with a heart as soft as his velvety tuxedo coat. With his striking black nose and classic black-and-white markings, this handsome young cat (around one year old) looks every bit the noble scholar his name suggests.Sir Isaac’s story hasn’t been an easy one—he came from a hoarding situation and is still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. Right now, he’s a shy and sensitive soul who prefers to observe from a cozy hiding spot rather than rush into the spotlight. But beneath that cautious exterior is a gentle, sweet-natured kitty just waiting for the right person to help him bloom. He’ll need a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. A quiet home would suit him best, where he can settle in at his own pace without too much commotion. Older, respectful children would be fine, especially if they can give him the space he needs while he builds confidence. With kindness, consistency, and a little time, Sir Isaac Mewton is sure to reveal his true, affectionate self. Watching him come out of his shell and begin to enjoy the simple comforts of home will be a deeply rewarding experience. If you’re looking for a loyal companion and are willing to let love grow slowly, Sir Isaac Mewton may just be your perfect match. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $50.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt SIR ISAAC MEWTON, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
