My story

Gypsy is a gentle soul with a quiet strength that shines a little brighter every day. This lovely cattle dog mix, with her adorable little docked tail, may be a bit timid at first—but give her a little time and patience, and you’ll see her sweet personality begin to bloom. She’s incredibly smart, with a calm and observant nature that makes her a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates a more easygoing, thoughtful pup. Gypsy doesn’t demand the spotlight—she’s happiest simply being near her people, soaking in love and offering it right back in her own soft, steady way. As she continues to come out of her shell, Gypsy is showing just how loving and loyal she can be. She also seems to get along well with other dogs, which could make her a great addition to a home with a canine companion. At around 35 pounds, she’s the perfect medium size—easy to take along on adventures but just as content curling up beside you at the end of the day. Gypsy is looking for a patient, kind-hearted home where she can continue to grow in confidence and feel safe. In return, she’ll give you a deep, genuine bond and the quiet kind of love that means everything. Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted.
