George

My story

George was found abandoned as a 4 week old kitten about a year and a half ago. We took him in and loved on him. Got him neutered. He gets his nails trimmed regularly. His litter box has always only been in our daughter’s room upstairs and that’s where he sleeps every night as well. He has never had accidents outside the litter box. Very well house trained. He is loving and runs out to say hi when anyone comes over. Our 7 year old male Rottweiler has never been a fan of George since we brought him home. He will chase him away when he has the opportunity. They have semi learned to just stay away from each other. Recently our dog has started sneaking upstairs and marking to which we are finding then the cat will mark in the same area the dog did. It’s to a point now where we have a baby gate blocking our dog from going upstairs and it’s creating a stressful living environment. We have decided it’s probably best to find George a home where he can roam free and be loved by everyone.
