My story

Rosie is loyal, sassy, energetic and very affectionate. She’s a 6-year-old, 20 lb Chihuahua/Dutch Shepherd/Pit Bull mix. She loves hiking and jogging but she equally adores snuggling under a blanket for hours, licking her humans, and napping in the sun all day. Rosie has a big personality—if she wants something, she’ll let you know, and her playful sass always brings a smile. Rosie forms deep bonds with her primary person and is incredibly loyal—she’ll follow you everywhere like a little shadow and loves curling up close at night. She’s best in a home without young children, as their fast movements and unpredictability can make her feel uneasy. Rosie’s a true foodie and is highly motivated by treats. Rosie’s owners have loved and cared for her since she was one year old and are heartbroken to part with her. They are planning to have a child and know that Rosie isn’t comfortable around young children. They hope to find a loving forever home where she will be safe, happy, and cherished.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Rosie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
