My story

Meet Chicky!Chicky was surrendered to the pound with her sister Kika after their owner could no longer care for them. While going from a home to the shelter was tough, Chicky was incredibly flexible and was quick to make new friends with the other kitties in her room! At two years old, this girl is super sweet and gentle. She loves pets and taking naps in everyone's bed but her own, and is a fan favorite amongst the other cats and staff! You may notice that one of her eyes is a little more squinty than the other. We discovered that Chicky has an eye ulcer that is causing some drainage issues, but we currently have her on a treatment plan in hopes that it will resolve soon. While we wait and see how it progresses, she's a pro at using her wink to flirt and win us over!Her sister was lucky to find a home quickly after arriving, and we can only hope that Chicky will have the same luck soon.
