My story

Meet Domino!Elegant, charming, and incredibly handsome, with a heartwarming backstory, Domino is a complete catch! Domino was surrendered to the shelter after his owner discovered he had a life threatening urinary condition called FIC that caused painful urinary blockages. Since coming into our care, Domino has had multiple blockages that required immediate hospitalization to save his life. Domino was strong through it all, and has made everyone who has met him fall in love. Due to recurrent issues with blocking, Domino recently went through a specialized PU surgery - painful, but lifesaving. While in recovery, his foster has had nothing but good things to say about him. He's sweet, adventurous, and playful, and loves their chocolate lab! His favorite activities (when not in recovery) are playing with his favorite worm-on-a-string wand toy and "helping" his foster family with their daily chores. Domino is currently on daily medication to help lessen his stress and pain, and will likely need to stay on medication going forward. He is also on a specialized urinary diet (which he eats like a pro!) which will help support his long-term urinary health. Domino loves his people and always wants to be around them. He would do best in a home where there will always be someone there for him and where he can run and explore to his heart's content! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Age: 2yrs 8mths 1wks
