My story

Meet Brie Brie is a 36-pound cattle dog mix with the softest coat and the most soulful, searching eyes you’ve ever seen. She’s new to our rescue and still finding her footing, so right now she’s a little timid and shy — the kind of girl who likes to quietly take in the world before stepping into it. True to her cattle dog roots, Brie is incredibly smart. She observes everything, calmly watching and processing her surroundings with a thoughtful little tilt of her head. She’s curious about new things, but cautious too — the perfect balance of bravery and wisdom. And if you happen to have treats? You’ll quickly see her sweet personality start to shine. Snacks are definitely the way to her heart. Brie carries a small scar over her eye, a gentle reminder that she’s been through more than any dog ever should. But that chapter is behind her now. From here on out, her story is all about safety, kindness, and the very best life filled with patience, love, and maybe a few extra treats. She’s a quiet, steady presence — the kind of companion who will sit beside you, soft and warm, simply happy to be near her person. Brie doesn’t need the spotlight; she just needs a home where she can continue to bloom at her own pace. And once she does, she’s going to be something truly special. Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted.
