My story

Apply at: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/IBRI/Dog DOB: 9/18/2025 Sex: Female Breed: Doberman/Dalmatian mix (per DNA results) Estimated Adult Weight: 60 - 70 lbs +\- Meet Maya ~ Maya is the sweetest! She’s loving, gentle, and happiest when she’s right by your side. She absolutely adores kids and has a natural way of being patient and kind with them. She’s also a big fan of other dogs and loves having a buddy to play with. Even better, she listens beautifully—if another pup is done playing, she’ll happily back off when asked. She dreams of being friends with the cat and is respectful of her warnings…never chasing, always gentle, just hoping for a little love in return. If you’re looking for a snuggler, look no further—Maya is the best cuddle buddy. She truly just wants to be part of the family. Whether you’re relaxing on the couch or going about your day, she’ll be close by, happy just to be included. On walks, Maya is a dream. She’s calm, well-mannered, and walks right at your side with a loose leash. She’s friendly when passing people and other dogs, but never over-the-top. In public places she’s calm and observant, patiently waiting and soaking up attention from anyone who wants to say hello. Maya does best in an active home that can match her energy. She loves being outside, going on walks, and having opportunities to play and explore. After she’s had her exercise, she settles nicely and is happy to relax and nap (usually in the funniest positions!). At home, Maya warms up quickly to guests and just wants everyone to love her as much as she loves them. She thrives with a calm, patient approach when learning or following commands—she’s eager to please and just wants to make you happy. One of her cutest quirks? When she’s really happy, Maya gives you a big “smile” and shows off all her perfect toofs!! If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate, fun-loving companion who will keep you active and snuggle up after, Maya might just be your perfect match. *All Itsie Bitsie Puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, started on vaccines, dewormed, and vet-checked. IBR requires landlord permission for renters and a yard check for all puppies. We do not adopt out siblings. Please allow volunteers a few days to look over applications. An adoption fee applies. Volunteers will CALL if your application is selected for a phone interview.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Maya, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
